I don’t know about all of you but for me, whenever I wear eye make up (shadow in particular) I incidentally end up wiping it off much sooner than I’d like. I feel like, if I’m going to put in all the effort of color selection and blending to perfection it should last longer than a few short hours!
Luckily, I stumbled upon what I consider to be a miracle product: Too Faced Eye Shadow Primer. I use this stuff daily and for a mere $18 it’s lasted me about a year. I’ve tried other products, such as Urban Decay’s primer potion, but they just don’t work as well as too faced’s insurance primer. Not to smash Urban Decay, they make many products I use and love, but as far as primers go - I’m 100% a too faced gal!
When I use this product I find that my shadow can last me from 8am until about 8pm, a whopping 12 hours! I apply after using my bronzer and/or facial powder. It’s a nude color that blends right in, which is lovely. Then apply make up as desired. It’s simple and wonderful.
This product can be purchased at Sephora, or on their website www.sephora.com. Also, it’s available at www.toofaced.com. It also comes in tints which give your make up a shimmery base, I’ve used those as well but I like to, in this case, stick with the basics!

They work really well if you have the right expectations. They are meant to last for 2 - 3 days. After that they begin to peel. The upsides…
1) Awesome nail art!
2) …in 20 mins or less. Even less when you get the hang of it.
3) No mess.
4) Easy removal.
5) The envy of all you know.
Plus, the ones on sephora.com are on SALE!
I also recommend using a glass nail file. It makes things so much easier and pristine.

If you haven’t tried this yet, you should. If you feel something painful getting ready to come up, hit it with this bad boy and it won’t even get the chance to hit the surface. Mind you, this is only for small blemishes AND for the ones that haven’t broken the surface yet. If you use it on a blemish that’s come to a head you could potentially make it worse.
I’ll never let this run out of batteries. :)
